Crocs

crocs mary jane

Nurses, doctors, pregnant women, and the makers of Crocs. So in case your confused, let me clear the air…those are the only people who can wear crocs. So for the rest of you…I shake my head in shame. I refuse to buy crocs AND before you past judgment on me, I have in fact tried on a pair. Yes they are comfortable..but is it worth it? Nope. These really just do not look good on anyone, even the people I mentioned earlier, but due to their profession I will just turn the other cheek. There are plenty of cute comfortable sneakers out there!! Which means theres no reason (no excuses) on why anyone should be buying these. Crocs..its most definitely not going to be a thing. I think its safe to say they are on their way to ‘Fad History’. See tcritic hates crocs too!

Steven By Steve Madden ‘Babbett’ Oxford

steven by steve madden babbett patent leather oxfordsteven-by-steve-madden-babbett-patent-leather-oxford.jpg

What do you get when you mix a Mary-jane with an Oxford shoe? You get this, technically its an Oxford, but I suggest otherwise. This chunky heel will make your legs look great, not to mention you get to grow about 4 inches! From the very start I have been all for the round toe Heel, I think they can be just as sexy as the pointed toe. This Steven by Steve Madden shoe has found the medium between fun and chic. Since I’m not totally convinced I like the oxford yet this shoe definitely is helping me ease to the popular trend. If your staring at it with lustful eyes but not sure what to wear it with no worries! Pair these shoes with a sleek pencil skirt or a great coat dress, something structured and that has weight to it. For the mini skirt lovers out there, make sure the skirt is a thicker material, and slip into some colored tights (dark red or purple would look great).

I would grab these up before everyone else starts wearing them, because don’t lie..you know you love to say “Oh, you just go those? ..I’ve had mine for a few months already.”

BCBGirls ‘Zabrina’ Peep toe Pump

Bcbgirls Zabrina Peep Toe Pump

BCBGirls heel is one of my favorite shoes right now because of its contemporary design. From the sleek square on the front to the sling back. The one pictured above is actually navy blue and has some texture to go with it. these heels ar also available in patent leather, which is really hot. Just think ladies…no more rushing to the bathroom or trying to use your spoon as a mirror when you have something on your teeth, just pretend you dropped something and take that quick check in your new ultra sleek and sexy heels.

Nine West ‘Jojus’ Pump (Holiday shoes pt.2)

Nine West Jojus Pump

The Ninewest heel I love because its classic and just pretty. I really like the twist of straps in the front, it makes it look different and the satin material gives off a certain elegance. I don’t usually recommend a specific color for the shoes I put up, however I do for this shoe, I would definitely stick to the red color. This heel takes any little black dress to the next level.

Justsweet ‘Phaedra’ Wedge (Holiday shoes pt.1)

Justsweet Phaedra Wedge

The holiday season is upon us and with that you will need a great party shoe. Women notice shoes, its really simple as that, so if you show up to your holiday event with a great outfit and the wrong shoes, there will be whispering and pointing. Luckily I have some great special occasion shoes that will make you stand out and be the envy of fellow co-workers at the work party or your friends at the annual holiday get together. I am also a firm believer in wearing shoes more than once. So don’t think you will be spending a lot of money to wear something only once and then finding yourself reluctantly dumping them in the ‘giveaway’ box a year later (Because you couldn’t wait the 20 years for them to come back in style). The Justsweet wedge is for those more casual parties, probably for the younger women who are looking for a cute flirty shoe. One other plus for this shoe is that its a wedge..so that means more balance/support for those women who (ahem) have too much fun at those holiday parties.

BCBGMAXAZRIA Women’s Cora Ballet Flat

bcbgmaxazria-cora-flat.jpg

Menswear is getting to be pretty popular among women’s clothing, and the one trend I seriously can’t get enough of is argyle (Yes, I cant get enough of this, however better used in moderation). The reason this is a must have flat is because BCBGMAXAZRIA made argyle so feminine, with the bow to the patent leather accents. Also metallics are all over the place (if you didn’t notice this, please get out from under your rock) the gold on this shoe is not tacky in any way, and only enhances this flat’s appeal. Metallics and Argyle, It’s going to be a thing.

Sara’s Bootmix

via-spiga-benny-boot.jpgmax-studio-radcliffe-tall-boot.jpgdonald-j-pliner-dory-boot.jpgenzo-angiolini-pave-boot.jpg
I have already professed my undying love for flat boots…but I’m not one to exclude, so I have complied a mix of my favorite boots for this season. Before you sigh, and say to yourself…”Where are the uggs?” Let me answer that…there aren’t any uggs because they have found their place in “fad history” (I will use this term over again, so for feature reference it means it had it’s 15 minutes of fame and now its over). The first picture is the Via Spiga boots, if you were one of those people I mentioned earlier about not owning a pair of black boots, these are the ones you need. Via Spiga is an amazing brand and these boots look great on everyone! The Maxstudio boots are for anyone looking for simplicity with an added little something, which comes in the form of 3 buckles. It gives you that ‘old time’ look but updated to look classy, sexy, and chic. Donald J Pliner’s ‘Dory’ boot has my favorites: texture, buckles (awesome), and they are a perfect height for the 98% of the population that didn’t get super long legs. These boots will look hot and fit. Lastly are the Enzo boots..comes in black and brown, which is all you really need, I don’t mess with a classic.
