And that brings me to another one of my chunky shoe rules, if you’re going to wear a shoe like this with a thick heel, platform and more substantial foot covering in the summer – again try to keep things simple and look for an open toe and an open heel (i.e. like this slingback). If you had a closed toe and heel it you will run the risk of looking too covered up (yes, that can happen, even on your feet) for what is supposed to be a light-hearted affair and season. The Giulianna definitely keeps things fresh because it’s open at the front and heel and has great weaving at the front. This color also totally makes me think of warmer weather. However, beware, you better have a killer outfit in bright colors to pull off this shoe! (or just get the black ;o) )

Gwen Stefani has become a style icon and this shoe is a prime example why. The stitching between materials makes this flat different and funky but by adding the neutral colors it makes this flat very wearable. Pair these shoes with a drab work outfit to spice it up a little or some skinny jeans for those more casual days.

I commend Gwen Stefani. Not every celebrity can do the fashion business and do it well. I must say I am impressed with her innovative style. This is one of her newer styles and I really dig it. The blue is a really pretty shade and the patent leather black toe makes it modern and edgy. Also if you look closely you can see that the blue has a diamond pattern (very cool). With these pumps accompanying your outfits you will feel chic and sexy..guaranteed.

p.s if you go to Chicalert.com there is this hot black patent leather tote (on sale!) that would be the perfect complement to these shoes!

I love the new styles Gwen puts out! Her shoes speak for themselves, they are the shoes that you form your outfit around. I think the wooden platform heel is a perfect complement to all the strap and buckle work that makes up this shoe. This would look great with a structured form fitting dress (please nothing made of polyester!) or a pencil skirt that doesn’t quite cut it with black heels. Be the first to jump into Gwen Stefani’s new shoes, trust me you will be one step ahead of everyone else!

Gwen Stefani has got her own unique style, which is what this shoe reflects. I love the combination of the silver and gold metallics with the black front, it makes this shoe so much more versatile. This bag was love at first sight. It has all my favorites, from the rich colors to the many buckles. I am one of those women who you can tell who she is by whats in her bag. My whole life is in mine. Since its so spacious (without being overwhelming) it fits my necessities plus a little more. Also the soft leather makes it comfortable and casual. Not only is this a great bag for everyday it is an awesome stylish traveling bag as well. Gwen’s cool style really shows through with this bag. Because of the buckle and criss cross detailing it’s unique but can be used daily (major plus). The main reason I chose this bag is because it goes with so many of the shoes I have already posted: Jeffery Campbell flat, Seychelles Boot, and boot mix.
